Private Instruction

Clients learn the fundamentals of the Pilates technique and how to apply them to exercises on the mat, reformer, cadillac, and chair. The instructor helps guide the client throughout the session, ensuring correct alignment and balanced use of muscles to create a stronger, leaner more stable body.

Introductory Sessions

It is recommended that everyone begin with a private introductory session in which an instructor will complete a brief postural analysis, explain the basic principles and begin teaching you some fundamental movements.

From this session you gain insight into what particular needs your body has and how to address them, modify or focus your attention during your workout. It also gives you an opportunity to ask questions and understand how the Pilates Method can help you personally.

Private Sessions

Having undivided attention from an instructor is invaluable when it comes to your progress in strengthening efficiently and building a new level of awareness of your core and total body. Using the information gained from your introductory session, a program is then tailored to your personal needs, goals and abilities. You will see and feel your body change dramatically after 10-20 sessions.

Private sessions are ideal for persons wishing to gain in-depth instruction in the Pilates Method, and especially for those with special considerations such as surgeries, diagnosed back pain, or other chronic issues.

Semi-Private Sessions

Semi-Private sessions involve two or three people looking for personalized instruction. This situation allows you a chance to work in a small, more private setting than a scheduled group class while still receiving increased hands-on attention by the instructor. This option is also great for a group of two or more who need scheduling flexibility as the sessions are booked on an appointment basis. Semi Private sessions are taught using all equipment possible.

Apprentice Sessions

As we are an Instructor Training Facility for STOTT PILATES®, we run an apprenticeship program that is part of the certification process. Apprentices are students in the Instructor Training Program who have finished their class work and have been approved to start teaching to gain practice and experience before their certification exams. Benefit from working privately with an instructor at very reduced rates.

Clients with specific injuries or recovering from surgery should not book in with an apprentice but request an instructor who has completed their "Injuries and Special Populations" course. This will ensure your safety and optimal progress through your program.
