It is recommended that you begin with a Private Introductory Session. In this session, an instructor will explain the basic principles of alignment and begin teaching you some fundamental movements in order to familiarize you with class repertoire. From this session you will gain insight into what particular needs your body has and how to address, modify or focus your attention on these during class. It also gives you an opportunity to understand how the Pilates Method can be personalized to your body’s strengths and challenges.

Matwork classes are a great way to learn foundations of the Pilates Method. These classes are offered by level of understanding and experience in Pilates practice. We are committed to keeping a low client-Instructor ratio in order to maximize your understanding.
A great starting point for beginners, the Essential Mat class teaches the Five Basic Principles of the STOTT PILATES method, and builds a foundation of exercises required to move on to the next level. This mat-based workout is designed to help participants develop leaner, longer-looking muscles, establish core strength and stability, and heighten mind-body awareness. Props may be incorporated to add variety. Participants are welcome to stay in the Essential classes until they feel confident enough to enter the Intensified Essential Mat class.
Intensified Essential Mat
If you’re looking for a little bit more of a challenge in your Matwork routine the Intensified Essential mat ups the difficulty by increasing the speed in which the exercises are moved through as well as expanding on the use of props. This class is a great stepping stone towards the Power Paced or Core Challenge mat classes or can offer in itself enough of a challenge to keep you working hard.
Power Paced Matwork
This class takes it up a notch with a quicker paced, dynamic workout that will energize you. Stamina, endurance and body awareness will be put to the test while maintaining safety and efficiency. Reap the benefits of this total body workout challenge.
Core Challenge Mat
These classes are designed to strengthen flexibility, coordination, balance and especially stamina and endurance through intermediate and advanced mat repertoire. It is important that clients have a strong understanding of the fundamentals of alignment taught in our beginner classes. Sessions will vary in programming to include bands and circles to challenge the body’s ability to stabilize during intensified workouts.
A recipe for tight Buns, Legs and Tummy’s! This class is a fun and energetic way to tighten up your “BLT’s” through low impact, isolated movements that promote long & lean muscles. In this 50 min class, you will do a combination of dance techniques at the barre and Pilates mat exercises with props to challenge your body’s strength, increase flexibility and improve your posture. This class is suitable for all fitness levels so any “body” can go in on the fun. Come find the dancer within!
Equipment classes entail working in groups of 3 – 6 with a certified instructor on the specialized Pilates apparatus. Participants are required to have a good basic knowledge of the Pilates Method before attending these classes. We reserve the right to oblige an individual to complete a number of private sessions with either a certified or an apprentice instructor in order to ensure safety on the equipment and your progress throughout the program.
Pilates Equipment classes offer the opportunity for clients to reap the benefits of the Pilates apparatus in a group setting and can be partnered with mat classes or private lessons to create a well rounded exercise regimen.
The Essential Reformer class reviews the Five Basic Principles of the STOTT PILATES method and introduces the most popular piece of STOTT PILATES equipment, the reformer. Participants will get an energizing total-body workout and learn about the reformer, its benefits, how to set it up and how it is used in a class format.
Body Sculpt Reformer
These classes are on the Reformer and are a progressed beginner level. The pace is moderate, yet challenging and will tone muscles, develop core stability and mind-body connection while providing an invigorating total-body workout.
Specific benefits of working with this type of equipment is the strengthening and lengthening muscles not bulking, leaving you looking long and lean!

Circuit Level 2
Circuit classes introduce you to the variety of different equipment here in the studio (TRX®, Reformer, Chair, Barrel, Bosu) and challenges your body by working it in short intervals. Incorporating this diversity into your workout pushes your muscles and keeps them from falling into a routine which ultimately helps to increase strength and stamina. For safety and class flow, clients must have taken private or semi private sessions with an instructor.
Circuit Level 3
Amp it up a notch with this level 3 class and challenge your body through a combination of small intervals on various Pilates apparatus including the Stability Chair, the Spring Wall, the Reformer and Barrels while maintaining a steady pace. For safety and class flow, clients must have taken private or semi private sessions with an instructor, or completed an easier level, prior to participation.
Born in the Navy SEALs, TRX® Suspension Training bodyweight exercise simultaneously develops strength, power, endurance, mobility, durability, balance, flexibility, and core stability. It is a fabulous compliment to Pilates training, and a performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user’s bodyweight to enable exercises that can be instantly scaled for any user to reach any fitness or training goal.
